St Albans City and District Council is inviting residents to give feedback on the youth shelter in Rothamsted Park, Harpenden.

The shelter provides a place where young people can sit, talk and socialise under cover. The Council installed it in Rothamsted Park last March for a trial period.

It is now considering providing a permanent shelter in the same location and wants to know what residents think.

Cllr Beric Read, Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement and Localism, said: "We wish to hear what residents of all ages think about the youth shelter in Rothamsted Park. We are particularly keen to hear from young people. Your views will help us to determine whether a permanent shelter is wanted in the park."

Following the trial in Rothamsted Park, the current youth shelter will be moved approximately every six months to a new location. These locations will include Wheathampstead, Redbourn, London Colney and St Albans. The popularity of the shelter will be assessed in each of the locations.

To have your say, please visit the survey or if you want it in paper format it can be picked up from Harpenden Leisure Centre and Harpenden Swimming Pool.

The deadline to submit your views is Friday 15 February.
