My evening at Classic on the Common

Just a quick note / review about the Classics on the Common Event. I went again this week (3rd year now) and although a slight bit of rain was in the air another great evening. I have been to a number of classic car events around the country, but this is very good with a great and wide selection of cars. I know some people moan about the traffic issues it causes, but for a town the size of Harpenden to stage such an event, they should be very proud.

I just had a look at the gallery that has ben posted and if anyone else has any other images from Wednesday night, could they please share.

The only complaint I have is how cars are allowed to leave at any point during the evening, causing cars to drive through the event when visitors are still strolling around. It would be good, if next year the event closed at a certain time, with cars then allowed to leave after that. It would save me from almost getting run over by a 1960s Aston Martin. So close for such a beautiful car.
