Lib Dem Candidate Thanks Hitchin And Harpenden Residents

Hitchin & Harpenden Liberal Democrats candidate, Nigel Quinton, has thanked the residents within the constituency after securing second place in the 2010 General Election with 26.7% of the vote (14,598 votes).

Nigel said: "The Liberal Democrats are now the only real opposition to the Tory party in this region and we will continue to work hard for the residents of Hitchin & Harpenden."

"This was the first time I have stood in a General Election and I have enjoyed the experience immensely. The residents of this diverse constituency have been fantastic. My main hope is that they are represented fairly & honestly in Parliament."
