Scandalous parking restriction on Station Road on Thurs, 28 July 2011. It seems that a removal company reserved the bays along Station Road outside Harpenden Building Society. Instead of highly visible cones on the road, a small, unnoticable sign was put up on the wall. All this I discovered after getting fine, and then asking one of the shop keepers to see if I was parked illegally. The shop keeper said no, but then an hour later noticed the traffic warden back giving everyone along the road a ticket. It was then that the shop keeper noticed the sign. How ridiculous that this 'restriction' was made so impossible to notice.
