Finally the penny dropped this evening on the way home!
FCC put in the 'great barriers' ... and although they are automated, it still needs 4 staff the man them until the early evening?! I think I now see the reason why the Monthly pass has gone up by about £20 ish?!
Almost laughable untill you realise just how much the increase in cost for both US and the STAFFING cost is taking the biscuit?
What happened to the good old days of :
- Nice trusty country feel train station platform - it now feels like a zone 6 train station
- A nice local bike shed and not a wierd sardine can that get bikers more stressed than the board room?!

...oh well....lets do it all again tomorrow!!?
