Bringing petrol costs down in line with most of the rest of the modern world would be helpful... the fuel gauge should barely move when commuting from Harpenden to St Albans.. but it absolutely does! More town centre cycle paths would make me think twice about driving... Failing that - well, just be honest Darling...

Be good if he actually showed some sign of dealing with the terrible state of our countries finances, Laying off the pubs would be good too but it doesn't sound like it will happen. Government seems determined to meddle in every aspect of our lives - mostly with the result of destroying community. Just concentrate on balancing the books please darling.
