Look out for a Black Volkswagon Golf sport Police believe that this Golf is linked to burglaries!

In recent weeks there has been a Black Volkswagon Golf sport

version with a lowered suspension and tinted windows. The vehicle is

likely to be stolen and as such number plates altered on a daily basis. The

vehicle has been entering Harpenden and the surrounding areas.

Police have reason to believe that this Golf is linked to an

increase in Burglaries that have occurred within Hertfordshire and surrounding

forces.

Police are requesting the assistance of residents to report any

sightings of a vehicle matching this description acting suspiciously. It is

likely to have at least two males inside, possibly driving slowly around roads.
