I am a self confessed craft fair addict; and I have found a place in Harpenden where I can indulge my guilty pleasure whenever I want, Serena Hart in Bowers Parade (the North End of Harpenden High Street.)

Donna Wilson at Serena Hart, Harpenden
I love anything which is handmade and this Christmas I am really proud of the gifts which I am going to give; from creams and soaps created in a Harpenden kitchen to candles in vintage tea cups, my friends and family are all going to receive a gift which is truly unique. And now I have discovered that the owner of Serena Hart, Mary Durkin, has a similar passion, I know where to go to finish off my Christmas shopping!
When you step inside the store you are greeted by a calm and organised atmosphere which Mary has skilfully created. The shelves are stocked with beautifully displayed gifts and cards and there is always something new on offer to tempt customers. Serena Hart has gift ideas for everyone; from exquisite jewellery, to sumptuous candles and comforting scarves (visit Serena Hart's website to find out what else they have on offer; you can even shop online.)
Products are sourced from a variety of places, including small suppliers- some of which are very local, the Thomas Kent clocks and some of the Christmas Cards and canvases are from a company in Redbourn. As well as stocking local products, Mary tries hard to source products from within the UK. She has a real eye for design and her choices are simply stunning; you can buy Donna Wilson cushions which are knitted in Scotland, Max Benjamin candles and diffusers from Ireland and Art work by English artist Nicola Watters. Have a look at my photos to see what other delights Serena Hart have in store.
I am delighted to have discovered Serena Hart and will definitely be popping on to satisfy my guilty pleasure!

In my point of view exquisite jewellery is the best option to gift your near dear one.
